Great Wall Motor Reports 9.65% Year-on-Year Growth in February 2025 Vehicle Sales
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Great Wall Motor (“GWM”) announced on March 1 that in February 2025, the company achieved a sales volume of 77,883 new vehicles, marking a 9.65% increase compared to the same period last year.
Despite the positive growth in February, GWM experienced a year-on-year decline of 9.28% for the first two months of 2025, with a total of 158,816 vehicles sold.

The new energy vehicle (NEV) sector contributed 15,121 units to the total sales in February, bringing the year-to-date volume to 37,384 units.
On the international front, GWM sold 31,068 vehicles in February, reaching a total of 59,084 units for the Jan.-Feb. period.
In terms of pricing, vehicles above 200,000 yuan saw a significant increase in sales volume, with 17,841 units sold in February, reflecting a 33.04% year-on-year growth.

Breaking down the sales performance by specific brands, HAVAL led the pack with 43,301 vehicles sold in February, experiencing a slight 3.2% decrease from the previous year. The WEY brand showed impressive growth of 37.52% year-on-year, with 3,643 vehicles sold in the same period. Great Wall Pick-up recorded the highest year-on-year growth at 65.04%, selling 17,263 units in February. However, ORA saw a decline of 36.86% in monthly sales compared to the previous year, with 1,898 units sold. TANK brand’s sales increased by 15.72% year-on-year, reaching 11,762 units in February.
