Great Wall Motor (GWM) recently celebrated a significant milestone as the 600,000th GWM POER pickup truck rolled off the production line in Shanghai. This milestone vehicle is the performance edition of the Shanhai POER, featuring a powerful 3.0T+9AT powertrain combination, 18-inch off-road AT tires, K-MAN nitrogen shock absorbers, and a 12,500-pound T-MAX winch. The vehicle is built on the intelligent off-roader-dedicated TANK platform, providing superior performance and capabilities.

The Shanhai POER Performance Edition is equipped with advanced features such as a 12.3-inch instrument panel, a 14.6-inch floating central control screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, Level 2 intelligent driving capabilities, leather-wrapped seats, and an innovative rear-seat electric sliding system. This pickup truck caters to both commercial and leisure needs, offering models for various scenarios at a price range of 100,000 yuan to 300,000 yuan.

Since the establishment of the GWM POER global pickup brand in 2019, the brand has achieved remarkable growth in a short period of time. Within two years and eight months, the brand surpassed sales of 300,000 units, reaching a production milestone of 500,000 vehicles by its fourth anniversary. The brand offers a diverse range of models to cater to different customer preferences, including passenger, commercial, and off-road pickups.

According to GWM’s data, GWM Pickup sold 91,916 vehicles in the first half of this year, with a market share close to 50% in China’s domestic market. Additionally, the brand exported 24,200 vehicles, marking a year-on-year increase of 7.3%. The GWM POER has consistently achieved strong sales performance, with over 10,000 units sold every month for 45 consecutive months.

The success of the GWM POER pickup truck highlights Great Wall Motor’s commitment to innovation and excellence in the pickup truck segment. With its advanced features, robust performance, and growing popularity in both domestic and international markets, the GWM POER continues to set new benchmarks in the pickup truck industry.
