Great Wall Motor’s premium brand, WEY, has recently launched the presales for its Gaoshan 7 MPV, targeting the sub-300,000-yuan MPV market in China. Priced at 289,800 yuan, the Gaoshan 7 is designed with family consumers in mind, offering a spacious and maneuverable option for those looking for a reliable and comfortable vehicle.

The Gaoshan 7 measures 5,050 mm in length with a 3,085 mm wheelbase, providing ample space for passengers and cargo. Its compact size allows for easy maneuverability, with a minimum turning radius of just 5.6 meters. The “Agile Steering” function enables smooth U-turns even in tight spaces, making it a practical choice for urban driving.

Equipped with LiDAR technology, the Gaoshan 7 features the Coffee Pilot Ultra intelligent driving system, allowing for parking spot-to-parking spot autopilot capability. With a 96% success rate in recognizing over 200 parking scenarios, this system addresses the common parking challenges faced by larger vehicles, ensuring a stress-free parking experience for drivers.

Under the hood, the Gaoshan 7 is powered by the Hi4 Performance intelligent hybrid AWD system, delivering a maximum output of 337 kW and peak torque of 644 N·m. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds, providing a powerful and efficient driving experience. The all-aluminum suspension enhances ride comfort and corrosion resistance while reducing unsprung weight for improved handling.

Safety is a top priority for the Gaoshan 7, featuring a triple high-strength cage body with 81.96% high-strength steel, including 2,000 MPa A- and B-pillars. Additionally, a 3,107 mm side curtain airbag with six-second pressure retention offers added protection for passengers in all three rows, ensuring peace of mind for both driver and passengers.

With its combination of advanced technology, spacious interior, and safety features, the Gaoshan 7 is set to make a mark in the competitive MPV market in China.
