STELATO Opens Pre-Sales for S9 Range-Extended Model

Beijing (Gasgoo)- STELATO, the premium new energy vehicle brand developed by BAIC Group and Huawei, has officially begun pre-sales for the range-extended version of the S9 model. The starting price for this new variant is set at 318,000 yuan.

Customers who make a reservation now can benefit from a 2,000-yuan deposit deduction, resulting in a final payment reduction of 5,000 yuan. The S9 range-extended model is scheduled for an official market release in April.

The STELATO S9 range-extended version is equipped with a 1.5T range-extender hybrid system, offering a battery-powered range of 365 km and a combined range of 1,355 km. It also features Huawei’s ADS 3.3 intelligent driving system, four LiDAR sensors, and an optimized chassis.

In terms of design, the new variant maintains the styling of the all-electric version but includes some refinements like a closed-off front grille, full-width LED daytime running light, and chrome trim on the lower air intake.

The S9 range-extended model has dimensions of 5,160 mm in length, 2,005 mm in width, and 1,486 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,050 mm. Compared to the all-electric version, the width has increased by 18 mm.

With a 1.5T four-cylinder range extender delivering 118 kW of power and a drive motor reaching 227 kW, the S9 range-extended model also incorporates Huawei’s latest Tuling platform for enhanced performance and German-engineered chassis tuning for improved driving dynamics.

The vehicle is equipped with Huawei’s ADS 3.3 system, enabling end-to-end autonomous parking and featuring advanced smart driving capabilities such as interactive light system, welcome lighting, and remote summon capability.
