JAC Group Unveils New Lineup of Pickups and Trucks in Malaysia

JAC Group recently made waves in Malaysia with its brand launch event, showcasing a range of vehicles including the T9 oil-fueled pickup, the T9EV all-electric pickup, and a lineup of fuel-powered and electric light-duty trucks such as the I40, I75, and I90.

The event, which took place in Malaysia, saw JAC Group delivering its first batch of electric light-duty trucks to Malaysian clients. In addition, the company signed agreements with strategic local partners and eight secondary network dealers, solidifying its presence in the market and boosting confidence among collaborators.

The establishment of a wholly-owned subsidiary in Malaysia signifies a significant milestone in JAC Group’s localized operations and long-term strategy for the Malaysian and ASEAN markets. The Chinese automaker is focused on developing commercial and passenger vehicles, as well as fuel-powered and electric vehicles, with an emphasis on brand development, product diversification, technological innovation, and advanced manufacturing in Malaysia.

Local officials have praised JAC Group’s operations in Malaysia, noting that it will help transform the country into a regional hub for vehicle production and export. This move is expected to create skilled job opportunities and contribute to the growth of Malaysia’s new energy vehicle and manufacturing sectors.

Overall, JAC Group’s brand launch event in Malaysia has set the stage for the company’s expansion in the region, showcasing its commitment to innovation and sustainability in the automotive industry.
