China’s state-owned JAC Group has entered into a strengthened collaboration with local technology company Huawei Technologies Company to expedite the development of smart, connected vehicle solutions, electrified drivetrain technologies, and the integration of AI-based systems. This partnership aims to enhance JAC’s existing agreement with Huawei Digital Power, signed earlier this year, focusing on the co-development of innovative technologies for new energy vehicle (NEV) platforms, intelligent electric-drive components, and manufacturing systems. Additionally, the collaboration seeks to enhance sales and marketing operations and establish a robust charging network for NEVs.

The ultimate goal of this partnership is to co-create competitive products that offer exceptional user experiences and establish an integrated NEV charging ecosystem. The latest agreement allows for the incorporation of Huawei’s intelligent automotive solutions into JAC’s vehicle platforms, including advanced driver assistance systems, intelligent cockpits, vehicle control systems, cloud connectivity, and advanced communications.

Furthermore, JAC has committed to adopting Huawei’s AI and communications technologies for its enterprise-wide digital transformation. This includes leveraging AI to enhance data management, research and development, manufacturing processes, sales, and aftersales operations. By integrating Huawei’s advanced technologies into its operations, JAC aims to enhance efficiency, innovation, and customer satisfaction across all aspects of its business.

In addition to the collaboration with Huawei, JAC Group is currently accepting nominations for the prestigious Just Auto Excellence Awards. These awards honor industry leaders and innovators who have made significant contributions to the automotive industry. Nominations are open for businesses looking to showcase their achievements, highlight industry advancements, and gain global recognition. This is an opportunity for companies to be recognized for their excellence and impact on the automotive sector. Don’t miss the chance to nominate your company for this esteemed award and be celebrated among the industry’s best. Submit your nomination today to be considered for the Just Auto Excellence Awards.
