Jaguar has unveiled a new teaser image of its highly anticipated Design Vision Concept, giving us a closer glimpse at the car that will mark the beginning of a new era for the brand. The image, believed to showcase the rear end of the car, confirms previous reports that Jaguar’s upcoming models will feature a modern digital mirror in place of a traditional rear window, similar to the design seen on the Polestar 4.
The teaser image highlights the concept car’s striking proportions, with a noticeably wide rear wheel arch and track, as well as a blend of smooth curves and sharp lines. The absence of conventional rear lights suggests that they may be hidden from view or integrated into the sleek slats that run across the car’s tail. These slats, reminiscent of Jaguar’s new ‘leaper’ logo, hint at a potential showcase of the brand’s revamped branding on a larger scale.
The image was accompanied by the cryptic message “copy nothing”, echoing the sentiments of JLR creative chief Gerry McGovern and paying homage to Jaguar’s founder, William Lyons. This unexpected teaser comes on the heels of the recent rebranding of Jaguar, which has sparked strong reactions from enthusiasts and industry experts alike.
Jaguar’s CEO, Adrian Mardell, has described the brand’s renaissance as a “complete reset” and teases that the upcoming concept will be nothing short of “something spectacular”. The Design Vision Concept is scheduled to be fully revealed on December 2nd, during Miami Art Week. This concept is expected to preview a four-door electric GT, the first of three electric models planned for release starting in 2026.
The production version of the electric GT, which has already begun road testing, is projected to deliver over 575bhp and offer a range exceeding 430 miles. Priced above £100,000, this electric supercar will position itself as a direct competitor to the likes of the Porsche Taycan. Stay tuned for more updates as Jaguar embarks on its exciting journey into the future of automotive innovation.
