Lancia Unveils First Look at New Flagship Gamma Crossover
Lancia has recently released the first image of their upcoming Gamma crossover, set to debut in 2026 as the brand’s new flagship vehicle. The Gamma will be built on the STLA Medium platform, shared with other Stellantis models like the Peugeot 3008, and will be available with both combustion and electric powertrains.
Set to be produced alongside the successor to the DS 9 and the revamped Vauxhall Insignia at the Melfi plant in Italy, the Gamma will continue Lancia’s design language introduced by the Pu+Ra concept and reflected in the new Ypsilon supermini. While specific details on the Gamma’s appearance are scarce, it is expected to be a stylish mid-sized crossover.
Lancia CEO Luca Napolitano expressed excitement about the Gamma, stating, “The new Lancia Gamma represents a milestone in our journey towards the future. It will embody the essence of Lancia: innovation, style, and a commitment to excellence.” Initially, the Gamma is slated for release in select European markets, with no confirmed plans for a return to the UK market.
