Leapmotor, a Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturer backed by Stellantis NV, has achieved a significant milestone by delivering a record 40,169 vehicles in the month of November. This marks the sixth consecutive month of record deliveries for the company, surpassing its annual target of 250,000 vehicles ahead of schedule.
The impressive performance in November represents a 117.04 percent increase from the same period last year when Leapmotor delivered 18,508 vehicles. Additionally, it is a 5.22 percent increase from the previous month’s delivery figure of 38,177 vehicles.
In the period from January to November, Leapmotor successfully delivered 251,207 vehicles, showcasing a remarkable year-on-year increase of 100.11 percent. This accomplishment highlights the company’s commitment to exceeding its sales targets and achieving sustainable growth in the competitive NEV market.
Looking ahead, Leapmotor has set an ambitious annual sales target of 500,000 units for 2025. This goal demonstrates the company’s confidence in its product lineup, market positioning, and ability to meet the growing demand for electric vehicles in China and beyond.
Since its establishment in 2015, Leapmotor has delivered a total of 557,031 vehicles, solidifying its position as a key player in the Chinese automotive industry. The company offers a range of models, including the T03, C01, C10, C11, and C16, with most models available in both battery electric vehicle (BEV) and extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) variants.
One of Leapmotor’s recent highlights was the domestic debut of the B10, the first model in the B-series, at the Guangzhou auto show in November. This all-electric SUV is based on the Leap 3.5 architecture and is set to launch officially in the first quarter of 2025, targeting a price range of RMB 100,000 to RMB 150,000.
Moreover, Leapmotor is expanding its presence internationally through strategic partnerships with companies like Stellantis and collaborations with overseas markets. The company has already begun selling vehicles in more than 10 European countries and recently signed a cooperation agreement with Myanmar’s NPK Motor to assemble vehicles in the Southeast Asian country under the SKD (Semi Knocked Down) model.
In conclusion, Leapmotor’s consistent growth, record deliveries, and ambitious goals underscore its position as a leading player in the NEV market. With a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction, Leapmotor is well-positioned to capitalize on the growing demand for electric vehicles and drive further success in the automotive industry.
