Leapmotor delivers record 48,006 cars in Jun

Leapmotor (HKG: 9863) achieved a milestone by delivering 48,006 vehicles in June, setting a new record for the second consecutive month, as revealed in the latest data.

The monthly deliveries surged by 138.65 percent compared to the same period last year when 20,116 units were delivered. Additionally, there was a 6.52 percent increase from May’s delivery figure of 45,067 units.

Since the beginning of the year, Leapmotor has successfully delivered 221,664 vehicles, showcasing a remarkable 155.68 percent year-on-year growth, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.

By the end of June, Leapmotor’s cumulative deliveries since its establishment amounted to 821,212 vehicles.

Founder, chairman, and CEO Zhu Jiangming set a sales target of between 500,000 and 600,000 vehicles by 2025 for Leapmotor. This ambitious goal was announced on March 11.

In 2024, the company delivered 293,724 vehicles, representing a notable 103.76 percent increase compared to the previous year.

Leapmotor’s current vehicle lineup in China includes the T03, B10, C01, C10, C11, and C16 models. While the T03 and B10 are solely available as battery electric vehicles (BEVs), the other models also offer extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) variants.

Supported by Stellantis NV (NYSE: STLA), the Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturer began accepting pre-orders for its all-electric sedan B01 on June 29. The starting price for this model is RMB 105,800 ($14,770), making it the second addition to the B series.

The B series caters to a more budget-friendly market segment compared to the C series and aims for higher sales volumes.

($1 = RMB 7.1613)

Leapmotor has launched pre-sales of its T03 compact EV and C10 SUV in Hong Kong.
