Leapmotor has unveiled the latest version of its affordable SUV, the C10, in a bid to attract more customers and boost sales. The 2026 C10 offers both extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) and battery electric vehicle (BEV) options, providing consumers with a range of choices to suit their preferences.

The C10 BEV comes in three variants, with starting prices ranging from RMB 122,800 to RMB 142,800. This represents a reduction in price compared to its predecessor, making it even more accessible to a wider audience. Similarly, the C10 EREV is available in two versions, with starting prices starting from RMB 122,800.

Measuring 4,739 mm in length, the five-seater SUV offers a spacious interior for passengers. With a wheelbase of 2,825 mm, the C10 provides a comfortable ride for occupants. The BEV version of the C10 is equipped with two different power options, featuring electric motors with outputs of 170 kW and 220 kW. This allows for quick acceleration, with the ability to go from 0 to 100 km/h in as little as 5.9 seconds.

Powered by lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery packs, the C10 BEV offers impressive range capabilities, with options for 69.9 kWh or 74.9 kWh battery capacities. This translates to CLTC ranges of up to 605 km, ensuring that drivers can go the distance without having to worry about recharging frequently.

On the other hand, the C10 EREV features a 1.5 L range-extender engine and a rear electric motor with a maximum power of 170 kW. With an LFP battery pack of 28.4 kWh, the EREV version offers a CLTC battery range of 210 kilometers. Additionally, it has a combined CLTC range of 1,190 kilometers when fully charged and fueled.

The updated C10 also includes LiDAR technology in the highest priced variants of both the BEV and EREV options, enhancing safety and providing advanced driving assistance features for added convenience.

Customers can expect deliveries of the C10 to begin on May 20, with the SUV set to make an appearance at the Hong Kong auto show in June. Having already launched the C10 in Europe, Leapmotor continues to expand its presence in the global market, catering to the increasing demand for electric vehicles.

As one of Leapmotor’s best-selling models, the C10 has been a key contributor to the company’s impressive monthly deliveries. With a focus on affordability, performance, and range, the C10 is poised to attract even more customers looking for a reliable and eco-friendly SUV option.
