Leapmotor Sets New Record with 20,116 Vehicles Delivered in June 2024

Beijing (Gasgoo)- In June, Chinese new energy vehicle maker Leapmotor achieved a significant milestone by delivering a record-breaking 20,116 vehicles. This marked a remarkable 52.3% year-on-year surge and a 10.7% month-on-month increase in sales.

One of the key highlights in June was the official launch of Leapmotor’s intelligent six-seater SUV, the C16. Priced between 155,800 yuan and 185,800 yuan, the C16 garnered an overwhelming response with 5,208 units of fixed-orders within the first 48 hours of its market debut. Notably, the mid-to-high-end variants accounted for 97% of the order volume, with the Intelligent Driving version alone making up 30%. Furthermore, 95% of customers opted for the full configuration package.

The successful introduction of the C16 marks a significant milestone for Leapmotor as it enters the second half of the year with strong momentum.

Moreover, Stellantis, a stakeholder in Leapmotor International B.V., recently confirmed the successful assembly of the first trial production units of the Leapmotor T03 at its Tychy plant in Poland. This development follows earlier reports of the T03’s production at Stellantis’ Polish facility. Stellantis China stated, “If economically feasible, Leapmotor vehicles can be produced at any Stellantis plant globally. Some models will be produced in Europe, but the specific factories have yet to be disclosed.”
