Leapmotor’s B10 SUV is making waves in the new energy vehicle (NEV) industry with its impressive pre-sales figures. The company announced that within the first 48 hours of pre-sales, the B10 received a staggering 31,688 pre-orders. What’s even more interesting is that the most popular variant among buyers is the less expensive LiDAR-equipped version, priced at RMB 129,800.
The B10 is the first model in Leapmotor’s B-series, and it comes with a starting price of RMB 109,800. The SUV is available in five different variants, with three offering a CLTC range of 510 kilometers and the remaining two boasting a range of 600 kilometers. The two highest-priced variants are dubbed the smart driving editions, featuring an ATX LiDAR from Hesai Group (NASDAQ: HSAI).

In a recent media interview, Leapmotor’s management expressed confidence in the company’s sales projections. They revealed that monthly sales of over 40,000 units have already been achieved for the C-series models, and they expect even higher numbers for the B-series models. Leapmotor aims to sell 500,000 to 600,000 vehicles in 2025, with plans to introduce more B-series models in the future.
In 2024, Leapmotor delivered an impressive 293,724 vehicles, marking a significant increase from the previous year. The company’s sales momentum has continued into 2025, with February deliveries reaching 25,287 units, up 285 percent from the same period last year. In the first two months of the year, Leapmotor delivered a total of 50,457 vehicles, reflecting a substantial growth of 167.78 percent compared to the same period in 2024.
