Leapmotor (HKG: 9863) has officially kicked off pre-sales for the upgraded C10 SUV, marking a significant update to one of its best-selling models. Known as the 2026 C10, this facelift comes just one year after the initial launch of the five-seat SUV in March of the previous year.
The revamped C10 continues to offer both extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) and battery electric vehicle (BEV) options, similar to its predecessor. The 2026 C10 EREV is available in two variants, with pre-sales starting prices of RMB 129,800 ($17,860) and RMB 139,800 respectively. On the other hand, the 2026 C10 BEV also comes in two variants, with pre-sales starting prices of RMB 139,800 and RMB 149,800 respectively.
In comparison to the previous models, the 2026 C10 boasts some notable upgrades. One of the most significant improvements is the inclusion of LiDAR technology in the top-tier BEV and EREV variants, enhancing the vehicle’s advanced features.
The updated C10 maintains the same dimensions as its predecessor, measuring 4,739 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, and 1,680 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,825 mm. However, the BEV variants now offer an extended range of 605 kilometers, a substantial increase from the previous range of 410 km to 530 km. Additionally, the motor in the updated C10 delivers a peak power of 220 kW, a significant boost from the previous 170 kW.
Performance-wise, the 2026 C10 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds, a notable improvement from the previous 7.29 seconds. These enhancements make the facelifted C10 a more powerful and efficient option for consumers in the electric vehicle market.
Leapmotor introduced the C10 BEV to the European market in September 2024, followed by the C10 EREV in January of the following year. The C10 remains a top-selling model for Leapmotor, with 12,255 units delivered in March alone, accounting for 33% of the company’s total monthly deliveries.
