Leapmotor Unveils the All-Electric B01 Sedan at AUTO SHANGHAI 2025
Beijing (Gasgoo)- On April 23, 2025, Leapmotor, a leading Chinese new energy vehicle manufacturer, made a splash at AUTO SHANGHAI 2025 with the global debut of the Leapmotor B01. This all-electric sedan is the first model in the brand’s B series, targeting the 150,000-yuan market for new energy intelligent electric sedans.
The B01 is positioned as the flagship model for Leapmotor’s 10th anniversary, with a strong emphasis on providing high-quality smart cars tailored for young consumers.

The B-series lineup, spanning SUVs, sedans, and crossovers, is designed to meet the diverse needs of tech-savvy young drivers. Built on the advanced LEAP3.5 technology architecture, the B01 sets the standard as the first sedan in the B series.
Leapmotor also announced plans for global road testing of the B10 starting in June, with a market launch in over 20 countries and regions in 2025. Pre-sales for the B01 will commence in June as well.

The aerodynamic design of the B01 boasts a drag coefficient of just 0.197Cd, outperforming competitors like the Porsche Taycan and Tesla Model S. Inspired by the sleek sailfish, the B01 combines coupe aesthetics with practicality and is available in eight vibrant body colors, including the exclusive “Morgan Pink” shade developed in collaboration with Pantone.

Inside the B01, drivers can choose between two interior themes, Moonlight Purple and Cloud Gray, complemented by a 14.6-inch 2.5K HD central control screen and an 8.8-inch fully digital instrument display. Premium features such as chrome accents, ambient lighting that syncs with music, and a “transformable co-driver space” with modular accessories enhance the driving experience.
With a remarkable 650-km CLTC-rated range and cutting-edge LiDAR-assisted driving technology, the Leapmotor B01 sets a new standard for intelligent electric sedans in the 150,000-yuan market.
