Lectric Ebikes has once again made a significant impact on the e-bike industry with the release of the XPedition 2.0 electric cargo bike. Building on the success of the original XPedition model, the new 2.0 version boasts a range of upgrades while maintaining the same affordable price point of $1,399.

CEO and Co-Founder Levi Conlow emphasized the commitment to delivering value with the XPedition 2.0, which has quickly become a best-selling cargo e-bike. The redesigned frame features a stretched rear rack with a weight capacity of 450 lbs, making it ideal for carrying various cargo or even passengers.

One of the standout features of the XPedition 2.0 is the new torque sensor, developed by Lectric Ebikes to provide more responsive pedal assist. Additionally, the bike is equipped with a 750W M24 hub motor that offers a peak power rating of 1,310W, ensuring better acceleration and hill climbing performance even when the bike is fully loaded.

To enhance the riding experience, Lectric has widened the kickstand for added stability and narrowed the tires to 2.5 inches for a more nimble ride. The inclusion of a 50mm dual-spring suspension fork and suspension seat post further enhances comfort for riders. The handlebars feature a new color display and updated bolt-on grips and controls for turn signals.

The XPedition 2.0 offers three battery options, with the largest 35Ah battery providing a range of up to 170 miles per charge when using pedal assist. A new fast charger with a 5-amp output is also available to reduce charging time by 60%.

Priced at $1,399 for the base model with a single 624Wh battery, the XPedition 2.0 also offers dual battery and dual long-range battery options for increased range. The bike comes in Stratus White and Raindrop Blue colorways and includes features such as hydraulic disc brakes, Shimano 8-speed transmissions, and fender packages.

During the pre-order period, Lectric is offering several hundred dollars worth of accessories for free, including running boards, seat cushions, frame bags, and upgraded lighting. Pre-orders are expected to ship in the first week of January.

Overall, the XPedition 2.0 represents a significant value proposition in the e-bike market, offering a range of upgrades and features at an affordable price point. Lectric Ebikes continues to uphold its mission of providing high-quality, accessible e-bikes for riders on a budget.
