Lexus RX Review 2025, Price & Specs

Luxury car manufacturer Lexus has always been known for its commitment to creating vehicles with a sense of material richness and perceived quality that surpasses European luxury class norms. The latest addition to their lineup, the new RX, continues this tradition with a cabin that exudes a sense of heftiness and solid construction.

One of the standout features of the RX is Lexus’s new interior layout philosophy, known as ‘Tazuna’, which focuses on placing all controls within easy reach of the driver to ensure that their hands stay on the wheel and their eyes on the road for as long as possible. While this philosophy is evident in the car’s touch tracer control pads on the steering wheel spokes, which allow for easy control of various functions without taking your eyes off the road, it is not fully realized in the control of the RX’s new 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which lacks a separate cursor control.

Despite this minor drawback, the attention to detail in the RX’s interior is undeniable. From the high-quality material trim choices to the cleverly designed centre armrest cubby cover, every aspect of the cabin exudes luxury and sophistication. The spacious boot with 600 litres of cargo space and ample room in the second row further enhance the RX’s practicality, making it a standout option in the luxury SUV segment.

In terms of multimedia features, the RX comes equipped with Lexus’s latest infotainment system, Lexus Link Pro, which offers better connectivity and voice control. The 14-inch touchscreen control console allows for easy access to various functions, although some settings changes can be a bit complex. The system is fully connected and capable of over-the-air updates, and also offers inductive smartphone charging and wireless Apple CarPlay connectivity.

Overall, the new Lexus RX combines luxurious design with practicality and advanced technology to deliver a truly exceptional driving experience. Whether you’re looking for a vehicle that exudes sophistication or one that offers the latest in multimedia features, the RX is sure to impress.
