Li Auto, a leading electric vehicle manufacturer, recently reported its April deliveries, with a total of 33,939 vehicles delivered. While the company did not provide specific numbers for each model, data from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) reveals interesting insights into the performance of different models within Li Auto’s lineup.

One key observation is that models with lower price tags significantly contributed to Li Auto’s monthly deliveries. The company currently offers five models, namely Li L6, Li L7, Li L8, Li L9, and Li Mega. Among these, the L series models are extended-range SUVs, while the Li Mega is a pure electric MPV model.

In April, the top-selling model for Li Auto was the Li L6, with 16,755 units delivered. Despite a slight decrease from the previous month, the Li L6 remains the most affordable model in the lineup, starting at RMB 249,800 ($34,570). It accounted for 49.37% of Li Auto’s total deliveries in April and has been a consistent contributor, with 48.19% of deliveries from January to April.

The Li L7, Li L8, Li L9, and Li Mega also played significant roles in Li Auto’s April deliveries. The Li L7 delivered 8,102 units, the Li L8 delivered 5,178 units, and the Li L9 delivered 3,801 units. Each model showed varying performance, with the Li Mega delivering 103 units in April, indicating a decline in demand compared to the previous month.

Looking at the performance from January to April, the Li L7, Li L8, and Li L9 models showed varying degrees of year-on-year declines in deliveries. In contrast, the Li Mega contributed 1.98% of Li Auto’s deliveries during the same period.

To further enhance its product offerings, Li Auto launched updated versions of the Li Mega and the L-series EREVs in April and May, respectively. The updated models are expected to boost sales and cater to changing consumer preferences in the electric vehicle market.

In conclusion, Li Auto’s diverse lineup of electric vehicles caters to different consumer segments, with lower-priced models driving the company’s monthly deliveries. With ongoing updates and innovations, Li Auto remains a key player in the electric vehicle industry, poised for continued growth and success in the future.
