Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI) has recently announced promising sales guidance for its Li Mega MPV, indicating a significant improvement in performance compared to previous years. The company expects monthly deliveries of the Li Mega to reach between 2,500 and 3,000 units, marking a substantial increase from previous figures.

The Li Mega Home model began deliveries in late May and has already surpassed initial order volume projections. Production capacity for the zero-gravity rotating seats is currently being ramped up to meet the high demand for this premium MPV.

In May, Li Auto delivered a total of 40,856 vehicles, representing a 16.66 percent increase from the same period last year. This positive growth trend is a testament to the company’s commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction.

The Li Mega is part of Li Auto’s lineup of extended-range electric vehicles (EREV), alongside models like the Li L9, Li L8, Li L7, and Li L6. The updated Li Mega MPV, launched in April, features a higher-priced Home variant with advanced features and a starting price of RMB 559,800.

The performance of the Li Mega in previous years was below expectations, impacting overall sales for Li Auto. However, with the introduction of the updated model and increased production capacity, the company is optimistic about the future success of the Li Mega.

In 2024, the Li Mega delivered 10,798 units, accounting for just over 2 percent of Li Auto’s total annual delivery volume. Despite initial challenges, the Li Mega has shown improvement in 2025, with deliveries reaching 2,507 units in the first four months of the year.

Looking ahead, Li Auto is set to launch two new all-electric SUV models in the coming months. The Li i8 will debut in July, followed by the Li i6 in September, further expanding the company’s electric vehicle offerings.

With a focus on innovation, customer satisfaction, and sustainable mobility solutions, Li Auto continues to make strides in the electric vehicle market. The company’s commitment to quality and performance is evident in the success of models like the Li Mega, which is poised for continued growth and success in the future.
