Lucid Gravity: The Electric SUV Ripping Around the Nürburgring

Lucid Motors’ Gravity is not your average three-row electric SUV. With up to 828 hp under the hood, this luxury vehicle can go from 0 to 60 mph in less than 3.5 seconds, making it faster than most sports cars on the market. Recently, the Lucid Gravity was spotted tearing up the Nürburgring track in Germany, showcasing its power and agility for all to see.

As Lucid gears up for increased production of its first electric SUV, the Gravity, interim CEO Marc Winterhoff has hinted at the company’s plans for expansion into new markets in Europe and the Middle East. With two Gravity test vehicles sporting European plates spotted testing at the Nürburgring, it seems that an official launch may be on the horizon.

Videos from StateSideSuperCars and EMS Sport TV offer a glimpse of the Gravity in action, showcasing its impressive handling and control as it navigates the race track alongside other current and upcoming EV models. The Gravity’s “Celestial Arrival” event in March marked the resumption of deliveries, with the first models hitting the road in December 2024 for select recipients.

The Lucid Gravity Grand Touring model is currently available for order in the US, starting at $94,900 with a range of up to 450 miles. Later this year, the Gravity Touring model will be launched, with prices starting at $79,900. While the Gravity is not yet available for order in certain European countries, it is already making waves in Saudi Arabia, where prices start at SAR 487,715 ($130,000) for the Grand Touring model and SAR 416,645 ($111,000) for the Touring model.

In addition to the Gravity, another luxury electric SUV, the Genesis GV90, was recently spotted at the Nürburgring with less camouflage, giving enthusiasts a closer look at this upcoming flagship model. With the electric vehicle market continuing to grow and evolve, it’s clear that the Lucid Gravity is poised to make a significant impact with its combination of power, performance, and luxury.

As Lucid Motors continues to push the boundaries of electric vehicle technology, the Gravity stands out as a prime example of the brand’s commitment to innovation and excellence. Whether tearing up the track at the Nürburgring or cruising the streets in style, the Lucid Gravity is set to redefine the electric SUV experience for drivers around the world.
