Lynk & Co Unveils its Flagship SUV, the Lynk & Co 900

In a recent announcement on January 3rd, Lynk & Co took the wraps off its latest flagship large SUV, the Lynk & Co 900 (codenamed L946). This new model is built on the SPA Evo platform, specifically designed for large electric hybrid vehicles, and is positioned as a premium six-seat SUV. Following the design philosophy of “Urban Opposition Aesthetics” under THE NEXT DAY concept, the Lynk & Co 900 boasts a striking exterior and advanced technology features.

Exterior Design:
The front of the vehicle showcases a unique layout where the headlights and lower front grille are aligned parallel to each other, maintaining the brand’s design DNA while incorporating symmetrical aesthetics for a sophisticated look. Inspired by the halo of a rising sun, Lynk & Co has introduced a digital pixel lighting system with 10,192 LED beads, offering 32 levels of grayscale control for a seamless lighting experience.

Additionally, the headlights feature rectangular light source technology with pre-programmed lighting scenarios for different modes. The vehicle’s vertical waterfall-style grille comes with an active intelligent opening and closing mechanism, improving airflow and cooling efficiency.

Dimensions and Features:
Measuring 5,240 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,810 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,160 mm, the Lynk & Co 900 offers three wheel options and front 4-piston fixed calipers for enhanced braking performance. At the rear, the electric tailgate supports up to 300 kg and features interactive taillights with 2,400 individually controllable LEDs for parking and driving entertainment.

Powered by Orin-X/Thor systems and dual 8295 cockpit chips, the Lynk & Co 900 offers cutting-edge driving technology.

Performance:
The Lynk & Co 900 offers three powertrain options, with maximum outputs ranging from 530kW to 630kW. Accelerating from 0-100 km/h in around 4 seconds, the vehicle boasts a top speed exceeding 200 km/h and features Lynk & Co’s Super AI Digital Chassis for innovative functionalities like in-place turning and agile steering.

Overall, the Lynk & Co 900 combines premium design elements, advanced technology features, and powerful performance to create a flagship SUV that sets new standards in the automotive industry. With its blend of style, innovation, and performance, the Lynk & Co 900 is poised to make a significant impact in the SUV market.
