Lynk & Co presents 08 hybrid SUV in Europe, starting at $55,630 in select markets

Lynk & Co, a brand majority-owned by Zeekr (NYSE: ZK), has unveiled its latest offering for the European market – the Lynk & Co 08 hybrid SUV. This new model is set to hit the European market in June with a promising battery range of 200 km, as per the WLTP standards.

The Lynk & Co 08 will be available in two trim levels – Core and More – and will be priced starting at EUR 52,995 ($55,630) in select European markets. Customers can make their purchase through Lynk & Co retailers, the brand’s website, or at local clubs.

This hybrid SUV marks Lynk & Co’s third model in Europe, following the successful launches of the Lynk & Co 01 and Lynk & Co 02. The brand is making a bold entry into the competitive D-segment SUV market with the Lynk & Co 08.

One of the key highlights of the Lynk & Co 08 is its impressive battery range of 200 kilometers, making it the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) with the longest range in Europe. This extended range allows drivers who are not yet ready for a fully electric vehicle to experience the benefits of pure electric driving.

In addition to its electric capabilities, the Lynk & Co 08 offers a total range of up to 1,100 kilometers on a full tank of gas and a full charge. This ensures that drivers can enjoy long journeys with peace of mind.

The model is equipped with DC fast charging technology, allowing the battery to be charged from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 33 minutes. This fast-charging capability adds to the convenience and practicality of the Lynk & Co 08.

Originally launched in China in September 2023, the Lynk & Co 08 has been well-received in the market. Its successor, the Lynk & Co 08 EM-P, was introduced in China last August and is available in six different variants with varying battery ranges.

Lynk & Co, established in 2017 as a joint venture between Geely Auto and Volvo Cars, has seen significant growth in recent years. Zeekr’s acquisition of a 51 percent stake in Lynk & Co has further strengthened the brand’s position in the market.

Looking ahead, Lynk & Co aims to launch two new models in 2025 with a target of selling 390,000 vehicles throughout the year. With a strong track record of delivering innovative and high-quality vehicles, Lynk & Co is poised for continued success in the European market and beyond.
