Indian automaker Mahindra has recently unveiled a limited-run Batman Edition of its BE 6 Electric Origin SUV, drawing inspiration from Christopher Nolan’s acclaimed The Dark Knight Trilogy. Described as a production car that combines cinematic heritage with modern luxury, the Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition is a serious contender in the automotive world.

It seems that Mahindra is quite enamored with American culture, as they previously released the Willys MB Jeep-inspired Mahindra Roxor and collaborated with VW to produce a line of EVs. Now, they have taken it a step further by introducing a limited edition of one of their EVs inspired by the iconic Batman.

The exterior of the Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition features a custom Satin Black color, R20 alloy wheels, Alchemy Gold-painted suspension and brake callipers, and various Batman logos and branding throughout. The interior boasts brushed Alchemy Gold Batman Edition plaques, charcoal leather instrument panels, suede and leather upholstery with gold accent stitching, and the iconic Bat emblem embossed on various elements.

Despite the abundance of Batman branding, the overall design of the Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition is tasteful and well-executed. The vehicle is based on the top-shelf version of the BE 6, equipped with a 79 kWh battery that offers a range of approximately 340 miles. It is powered by a 282 hp electric motor that delivers 380 Nm of torque to the rear wheels.

The Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition also features modern Level 2 ADAS technology, multiple screens, and a range of other high-tech features. Priced at around $27,500, the limited edition vehicle will be produced in just 300 units, with orders set to open on August 23rd.

Overall, the Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition is a unique and stylish offering that pays homage to the iconic Dark Knight. With its blend of cinematic heritage and modern luxury, this limited edition vehicle is sure to appeal to fans of both Batman and electric vehicles alike.
