Maserati GranTurismo Folgore Review 2025, Price & Specs

Maserati’s latest creation, the Granturismo Folgore, is a marvel of electric engineering. With a dedicated electric motor for each of the rear wheels, this vehicle does not require a limited-slip differential. Instead, power and torque delivery are controlled by Maserati’s Vehicle Domain Control Module, which adjusts based on the drive mode selected.

The Folgore offers a range of drive modes, from Max Range for efficiency to Corsa for maximum performance. In Sport and Corsa modes, the full 751bhp and 996lb ft of power are unleashed, propelling the car from 0-60mph in just 2.9 seconds. In comparison, the V6 Granturismo Trofeo lags behind significantly, highlighting the Folgore’s superior performance capabilities.

Driving the Folgore is a thrilling experience, with power delivered smoothly and predictably. Even in Corsa mode, acceleration is managed expertly, allowing for controlled yet rapid progress. The chassis is well-balanced, providing a hint of muscle-car character while maintaining a high level of refinement. The electronic systems are finely tuned, ensuring a seamless and exhilarating driving experience.

While the Folgore excels in most areas, braking performance is its only weak point. The stopping power is adequate for a car of its size, but the pedal feel lacks feedback. Despite this minor flaw, the ability to adjust regenerative braking using the paddles adds an engaging aspect to the driving experience.

Overall, the Maserati Granturismo Folgore is a remarkable electric vehicle that combines power, performance, and sophistication. Its impressive acceleration, refined handling, and advanced technology make it a standout in the electric car market. Experience the future of driving with the Granturismo Folgore.
