Mazda 6e Review 2025, Price & Specs

Exploring the All-New Mazda 6e

Upon opening the door of the Mazda 6e, you are greeted with a sleek and modern interior that marks a departure from traditional Mazda design. The dashboard features a large touchscreen display, a stark contrast to the usual array of buttons and shapes. While some may miss the unique Mazda elements, the 6e offers a refreshing take on interior design.

In the Takumi Plus trim, the interior is adorned with luxurious caramel-colored leather and suede, exuding a sense of elegance. The standard Takumi trim comes with synthetic leather options in brown or black, catering to different preferences.

One notable aspect of the 6e’s interior is the typography used throughout the cabin. While Mazda typically employs a distinctive font in its branding, the 6e incorporates a mix of fonts, deviating from the brand’s usual style.

The infotainment system in the Mazda 6e bears resemblance to Chinese car designs, with a plethora of information and graphics that may appear overwhelming at first glance. Despite offering features like Apple CarPlay and responsive controls, the overall user experience falls short of Mazda’s usual standard of craftsmanship.

Behind the wheel, the driving position of the Mazda 6e may remind some of the Genesis Electrified G80, with a slightly elevated seating position. However, with ample adjustability and comfortable seating, drivers can easily adapt to the layout.

While rear seat passengers enjoy generous knee room, the high floor and low roof may limit overall comfort. The boot space is quoted at 336 liters, with an additional 72-liter frunk featuring a removable basket for added convenience.
