SAIC MG Unveils New Compact Car, the MG4 EV
On March 20th, Zhou Xin, General Manager of SAIC MG Brand Division, took to social media to reveal the official images of the brand’s latest offering, the MG4 EV. This compact electric car showcases a fresh design language and is designed to cater to the global market.

The MG4 EV’s exterior design draws inspiration from the electric concept of the MG Cyberster. The front grille is sleek and closed, complemented by distinctive headlights for enhanced recognition. The raised lines on the hood and the air intake shapes on the lower sides add a touch of muscular and sporty appeal. Moving to the side, traditional door handles and double five-spoke wheels adorn the car. At the rear, a continuous taillight and an “arrow” light shape similar to the MG Cyberster give the car a futuristic look. A small spoiler on the roof and a high-mounted brake light complete the rear profile.

The MG4 EV measures 4395mm in length, 1842mm in width, and 1551mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2750mm. Under the hood, the car is equipped with a single-motor pure electric power system featuring a TZ180XS1001 motor with a maximum power output of 120kW. The vehicle runs on a lithium iron phosphate battery pack, promising an efficient and eco-friendly driving experience.
