Lamborghini Unveils Fenomeno Supercar at Monterey Car Week
In addition to straight-line pace, the Fenomeno features downforce-inducing aero for rapid lap times. Elements include a wide front splitter, a pair of underbody air curtains, and an active rear wing.
Making its debut at Monterey Car Week in California, the Fenomeno is a “tribute to the original Countach and the beginning of the era of supercars”, CEO Stephan Winkelmann told Autocar. He emphasized that the design is not retro-inspired but rather a modern take on classic elements.
Winkelmann hinted that some design elements of the Fenomeno will influence future Lamborghini models. He mentioned that the car’s “hyper-elegant” body could provide inspiration for upcoming designs.
Inside, the Fenomeno offers luxury features typical of Lamborghini, including a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, an 8.4-inch central touchscreen, and a steering wheel adorned with buttons. The interior boasts high-quality materials such as Alcantara and carbon fiber, with lightweight racing seats adding to the performance-oriented feel.
Production of the Fenomeno is limited to just 30 units, with one destined for the Lamborghini museum in Bologna, Italy. Despite its exclusive nature, all units have already been sold.
