The New Renault 4: A Stylish and Affordable Electric Crossover

The highly anticipated Renault 4 is set to hit the UK market in July, offering a compelling option for electric crossover enthusiasts. With a starting price of £26,995, the Renault 4 aims to undercut competitors such as the Mini Aceman and Fiat 600e, making it an attractive choice for budget-conscious buyers.

Available in three trim levels, the Renault 4 offers something for everyone. The entry-level Evolution trim comes equipped with a host of features including 18-inch diamond-cut alloys, keyless entry, dual-zone climate control, quilted cloth upholstery, a 10-inch central touchscreen, and wireless smartphone mirroring.

Stepping up to the mid-range Techno trim for £28,995 adds even more luxury and convenience features, such as a Google-powered EV route planner, wireless phone charger, USB-C ports in the back, adaptive cruise control, hands-free park assist, ambient lighting, and part-leatherette upholstery.

For those seeking the ultimate in comfort and style, the range-topping Iconic trim at £30,995 offers bespoke black wheels, an electronic bootlid, heated front seats and steering wheel, yellow interior trimmings, and an enhanced suite of driver aids.

Positioned as the second model in Renault’s ‘Iconic Family’ lineup, following the success of the Renault 5 electric supermini, the Renault 4 offers a larger and more versatile option for buyers who find the 5 too small. With dimensions that rival popular electric crossovers like the Mini Aceman and Vauxhall Mokka, the Renault 4 promises to deliver a winning combination of affordability and functionality.

Renault’s bold design approach is evident in the Renault 4, which stays true to the 4Ever Trophy concept car unveiled in 2022. The sleek and modern design, coupled with practical features and competitive pricing, positions the Renault 4 as a strong contender in the electric crossover market.

With order books opening in July, the Renault 4 is poised to make a splash in the UK market and establish itself as a top choice for buyers seeking a stylish and affordable electric crossover.
