Nio Inc, a leading electric vehicle maker, reported a slight year-on-year increase in vehicle deliveries for the month of July. The company delivered a total of 21,017 vehicles, marking the fourth consecutive month that they have exceeded the 20,000-unit mark. This represents a 2.53 percent increase from the same month last year, although there was a 15.68 percent decrease from the previous month of June.

The deliveries in July included 12,675 units from the Nio main brand, 5,976 units from Onvo, and 2,366 units from Firefly. In the first seven months of the year, Nio Inc delivered a total of 135,167 vehicles, showing a year-on-year increase of 25.24 percent.

The Nio main brand delivered 87,120 vehicles from January to July, while Onvo delivered 37,838 vehicles during the same period. Firefly, Nio’s sub-brand, reached a cumulative delivery of 10,209 vehicles since its launch in April this year.

Onvo recently launched its flagship SUV, the L90, with a starting price of RMB 265,800 ($36,850) including an 85-kWh battery pack. The company announced that the first deliveries of the L90 have begun in 44 cities across China. The model has received positive feedback, and Onvo has increased the number of vehicles available for test drives to meet customer demand.

The introduction of the L90 is expected to significantly boost Nio Inc’s delivery volume in August. With the model’s strong production readiness and positive reception, Nio is poised for continued success in the EV market.

Overall, Nio Inc’s performance in vehicle deliveries remains strong, and the company continues to innovate and expand its product offerings to meet the growing demand for electric vehicles. Subscribe to CnEVPost to stay updated on the latest EV news and insights.
