Nio’s ET5 Touring continued its dominance in July, surpassing the ES6 SUV in monthly deliveries for the second consecutive month. With 4,418 units delivered, the ET5 Touring maintained its position as the top-selling Nio model, despite a slight decrease compared to previous months.
On the other hand, the ES6 delivered 3,359 units in July, experiencing a significant decline both year-on-year and month-on-month. This marks a shift in Nio’s product lineup, as the ES6 has been the best-selling model for the brand since its introduction in June 2019.
In addition to the ET5 Touring and ES6, Nio’s lineup includes the standard ET5 sedan, which delivered 1,480 units in July, and the EC6 coupe SUV, which delivered 1,425 units. The standout performer was the ES8 SUV, which delivered 1,090 units in July, marking a new high since January 2024.
Looking ahead, Nio is gearing up to unveil the new ES8 later this month, with the official launch scheduled for Nio Day 2025 in September. The company has not yet announced the exact date for the debut event, but speculations suggest it may take place on August 20.
In terms of other models, the ET7 sedan delivered 564 units in July, while the EC7 coupe SUV delivered 254 units. Nio’s executive flagship sedan, the ET9, saw a significant decline in deliveries, with only 85 units delivered in July.
Overall, Nio delivered 21,017 vehicles in July, showing a slight increase year-on-year but a decrease from the previous month. The main Nio brand delivered 12,675 vehicles, while the Onvo sub-brand and Firefly delivered 5,976 and 2,366 vehicles, respectively.
Onvo recently launched its second model, the L90 SUV, and began deliveries in August. Firefly is set to begin deliveries in Norway and the Netherlands on August 14.
The delivery wait time for the Onvo L90 has doubled, indicating strong demand for the new model. With these developments, Nio continues to make waves in the electric vehicle market, showcasing a diverse lineup and strong delivery performance.
