Nio Inc (NYSE: NIO) has announced a new limited-time promotion for customers looking to purchase a Nio-branded or Onvo-branded model in January. This promotion includes a 3-year 0-interest rate financing plan, making it easier for customers to afford their dream electric vehicle.

Customers who pay a deposit for a Nio-branded vehicle between January 1 and January 31 can take advantage of this offer. The financing plan offers 0 down payment and 0 percent interest for three years for those who choose a five-year installment finance plan through a partnered financial institution. This attractive financing option aims to make owning a Nio vehicle more accessible to a wider range of customers.

In addition to the financing plan, Nio is also offering other benefits to customers. This includes an option fund worth RMB 20,000 ($2,740) and five years of free NOP+ (Navigate on Pilot Plus) use. For customers opting for the BaaS (battery as a service) plan, they can receive one bill waiver after every four BaaS bill payments, up to a maximum of 12 waivers.

Furthermore, customers who purchase a new Nio vehicle through a trade-in of an old one will receive vouchers for 20 free experiences of Nio’s battery swap service. Those who already own a Nio vehicle and purchase a new one in January will receive an additional discount of RMB 5,000 to RMB 10,000. Additionally, Nio will offer credit points to compensate customers who are unable to receive the national trade-in subsidy due to their invoice date.

Onvo, Nio’s sub-brand, is also offering similar promotions for customers purchasing the L60 model. Customers who buy the L60 on or before January 31 can enjoy a 0 percent down payment and an interest-free finance package for the first 3 years. Customers opting for the BaaS model can also receive one bill waiver for every four BaaS bill payments, up to a maximum of 12 waivers.
