Nio Space is a smaller showroom compared to the flagship Nio House, which was first introduced in the MENA region with the opening of a showroom in Abu Dhabi on November 28, 2024. The Abu Dhabi location was the first Nio House to open in the MENA region, signaling Nio’s strategic entry into the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) market.
The UAE was chosen as the initial market for Nio MENA, a partnership established with Abu Dhabi-based CYVN Holdings to drive the deployment of advanced autonomous driving systems and battery replacement technology in the region. The recent opening of the Nio Space in Dubai, the 439th globally, underscores the brand’s commitment to the region and its ambition to establish a strong presence in the UAE.
Roberto Lopes Da Silva, General Manager of Nio UAE, expressed excitement about the opening of the Nio Space in DIFC, emphasizing the location’s forward-thinking ethos as ideal for showcasing Nio’s vision for smart electric mobility. The showroom features a range of Nio models, including the flagship six-seat SUV ES8, the coupe SUV EC6, and the mid-size sedan ET5 (locally rebranded as the EL8).
