Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. recently reported its sales performance in China for February 2025, with a total of 31,508 vehicles sold across its passenger vehicle and light commercial vehicle segments. This brings the cumulative sales for the first two months of 2025 to 76,926 units. Dongfeng Nissan, which includes the Nissan, Venucia, and INFINITI brands, recorded sales of 28,631 vehicles in February, with the Nissan brand accounting for 27,037 units. Additionally, Zhengzhou Nissan’s light-duty commercial vehicle division sold 2,877 vehicles, with the RICH 6 model making up 1,803 units.

In a move towards new energy vehicles, Dongfeng Nissan recently held a tech launch event in Guangzhou on March 1. This event showcased the brand’s latest innovations, including the Tianyan Architecture, a foundational technology for its NEV transformation. Four key technological advancements were highlighted at the event: a 14-in-1 intelligent electric drive system, AI Zero-Pressure Cloud Cushion seats, an advanced intelligent driving system based on large models, and a motion sickness prevention technology.

The sales performance and technological advancements demonstrate Nissan’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in the Chinese market. With a focus on new energy vehicles and cutting-edge technologies, Nissan is poised to continue its growth and success in the region. Photo credit: Nissan
