Introducing the Polestar 3: A New Single-Motor Variant with Impressive Range

The Polestar 3, an electric SUV, has recently introduced a new single-motor variant that boasts an impressive range of 438 miles on a single charge. This rear-mounted drive unit delivers 295bhp and 361lb ft of torque, allowing the vehicle to accelerate from 0-62mph in just 7.8 seconds.

While this new single-motor version may not match the power of the existing dual-motor options, which offer 483bhp and 620lb ft, it does provide a more energy-efficient driving experience. The single-motor variant can travel 46 miles further on a single charge compared to the dual-motor version and an impressive 91 miles further than the performance model.

One of the most appealing aspects of the Polestar 3 single-motor variant is its affordability. Priced at £69,900, it is £6000 cheaper than the regular dual-motor option and a significant £11,600 less expensive than the performance model.

For those interested in getting behind the wheel of the Polestar 3 single-motor variant, UK deliveries are scheduled to begin in May 2025.
