Porsche has recently unveiled three new additions to its 2025 Taycan electric sedan lineup, showcasing an expansion of the already impressive range with an entry-level all-wheel drive (AWD) variant and a more powerful GTS version.

The Taycan GTS, GTS Sport Turismo, and the more affordable Taycan 4 with all-wheel drive have been introduced by the German automaker, bringing the total Taycan lineup to 13 variants in the US and 16 globally.

With three body variants, options for all-wheel or rear-wheel drive, and Porsche E-Performance motors delivering power outputs ranging from 300 to 760kW, the Taycan lineup offers a diverse range of choices for electric vehicle enthusiasts.

These new models are currently available for order and are expected to arrive at dealerships in early 2025.

The standout addition to the lineup is the Taycan GTS, which boasts a more potent drivetrain capable of delivering up to 515kW with overboost, a significant increase from its predecessor. Porsche claims that the GTS can accelerate from 0 to 62mph in just 3.3 seconds and has extended its range by 75 miles, achieving a tested range of 390 miles under WLTP criteria.

In addition to the performance enhancements, Porsche has introduced a distinctive sound profile for the GTS, aligning with its high-performance image. The vehicle comes standard with 20-inch Turbo S Aero Design wheels, with the option to upgrade to 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels for a more sporty look.

The GTS Sport Turismo, a wagon variant of the GTS, shares the same performance enhancements and aesthetic details, including glossy black aprons, maintaining the high-performance standards set by Porsche.

The new Taycan 4 sedan offers a balanced combination of performance and efficiency, with a power output of 429HP using Launch Control and a quick 0-62mph time of under 4.4 seconds. Featuring two battery pack options, the Taycan 4 can achieve up to 400 miles in range and is designed to switch between rear-wheel drive and AWD for optimal traction.

The Taycan 4’s dual-motor setup enhances traction and stability, enabling a 0 to 100km/h sprint in just 4.6 seconds. Standard features for the Taycan 4 include 19-inch aero wheels, matrix LED headlights, and Porsche traction management with adaptive air suspension.

Overall, Porsche’s latest additions to the Taycan lineup continue to showcase the brand’s commitment to innovation, performance, and sustainability in the electric vehicle market.
