BYD has recently teased the powerful Han L sedan, hinting at its impressive specifications and performance capabilities. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released a catalog of upcoming models, including the Han L, for public feedback. This sedan will be available in two battery electric vehicle (BEV) versions, with the BYD7002ACBEV4 model boasting dual electric motors with peak powers of 230 kW and 580 kW.

The rear motor’s peak power of 580 kW is a significant achievement, surpassing Xiaomi’s V8s motor, which held the previous record with 425 kW of peak power. The Han L’s impressive acceleration capabilities, with a sprint time of 2.7 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h, make it one of the fastest models in its class.

The Han L’s motor is developed in-house by BYD, showcasing the company’s expertise in electric vehicle technology. The sedan’s sleek design and dimensions, including a length of 5,050 mm and a wheelbase of 2,970 mm, provide a spacious and comfortable driving experience. With a top speed of 270 km/h and a weight ranging from 2,095 kg to 2,466 kg, the Han L promises a thrilling driving performance.

Powered by lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries from BYD’s FinDreams Battery division, the Han L ensures efficient and sustainable energy usage. The BEV variant with the model number BYD7002ACBEV5 features a single electric motor with a peak power of 500 kW, offering a dynamic and responsive driving experience.

In comparison to Tesla’s Model S Plaid, known for its impressive acceleration capabilities, the BYD Han L sets a new standard in electric vehicle performance. With a focus on power, speed, and efficiency, the Han L represents BYD’s commitment to innovation and advancement in the electric vehicle industry.

As BYD continues to push the boundaries of electric vehicle technology, the Han L stands out as a powerful and impressive addition to the company’s lineup.
