Tesla has unveiled the facelifted Model Y in China, with the latest model now making its way through the regulatory process for approval. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released a catalog of upcoming models for public comment, which includes three versions of the facelifted Model Y.
The model comes in three variations with product model numbers TSL6480BEVAR5, TSL6480BEVAR6, and TSL6480BEVBA7. The facelifted Model Y is offered in two variants – a rear-wheel-drive version starting at RMB 263,500 ($35,940) and a long-range all-wheel-drive version starting at RMB 303,500. This marks a slight increase in pricing compared to the previous versions, with the entry-level model seeing a 5.44 percent price hike and the long-range all-wheel-drive version up by 4.33 percent.
Customers who order the facelifted Model Y before the sales deadline of February 28 can benefit from an extended warranty of two years or 40,000 kilometers.
