Flexis Unveils Trio of Electric Vans

Flexis, a collaboration between Renault, Volvo Trucks, and French logistics company CMA CGM, has recently revealed its upcoming line-up of electric vans set to hit the market next year. These vans are part of a €350 million model-range development plan and are built on a shared platform.

The innovative skateboard-style platform has been specifically designed to minimize the height of the loading floor, maximize interior layout flexibility, and provide long driving ranges for the vehicles.

Leading the pack is the Step-in Van, which is the production version of the Renault Estafette concept that was introduced last September. This flagship model features a traditional short-wheelbase van bodystyle with sliding doors at the front and a unique shutter door at the rear, a first of its kind in Europe.

Renault’s Step-in Van is built on a footprint similar to the Renault Kangoo but boasts the taller roofline found in the larger Renault Trafic model from the segment above.

Another model in the lineup is the Panel Van, designed to excel in urban environments with its 1.9m height, making it easy to navigate underground car parks and garages.

Completing the range is the Cargo Van, targeted towards last-mile deliveries with its various body styles, widths, and load bed options.
