German tuner Brabus has taken the new Smart #5 SUV and given it a serious power boost, ramping up the horsepower to a whopping 637bhp. This upgrade puts the Smart #5 in the same league as the Range Rover Sport SV in terms of acceleration.

Described as the “pinnacle” of the Geely-owned brand, the flagship variant of the Smart #5 stands out with its distinctive features. It sports a small front diffuser, 21-inch alloy wheels, a matte paint job, red accents, red brake calipers, and various Brabus branding elements that give it a unique and sporty look.

Inside, the Smart #5 Brabus is equipped with luxurious features such as an Alcantara steering wheel, heated front and rear seats, and a dashboard dominated by dual 13-inch OLED screens. The car also comes with a special Brabus mode that enhances power delivery and adds artificial engine noise to the cabin, similar to the #1 Brabus and #3 Brabus models.

One of the standout features of the #5 Brabus is its Launch Mode, which enables the SUV to sprint from 0-62mph in just 3.8 seconds. This impressive performance is made possible by the 100kWh battery that powers the vehicle, allowing for a range of 335 miles on a single charge (a slight decrease from the standard model).

Thanks to the 800V electrical architecture from the Geely SEA2 platform, the Smart #5 Brabus can charge at speeds of up to 400kW via a DC connection. This means that a 10-80% charge (equivalent to 235 miles) can be achieved in just 18 minutes, making it convenient for drivers on the go.
