Spy Shots Reveal Leapmotor B10 Interior Design During Testing

Spy shots of the Leapmotor B10 interior being tested have surfaced online in China. The B10, which was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show earlier this year, is set to be a global car with production likely to take place in Europe and China.

Stellantis-backed Leapmotor has announced plans for four series of cars, with the B10 SUV being the first in the B series. In China, the B series will focus on vehicles priced between 100,000 to 150,000 yuan (14,050 – 21,100 USD).

The interior of the B10 showcases a distinct design compared to its counterpart, the C10. The cabin features a floating centrally mounted infotainment screen, a flat-bottomed two-spoke steering wheel with minimal controls, and a small instrument panel on the steering column.

The center console features twin wireless mobile phone chargers and a storage tray, while the rear bench appears cluttered with testing equipment. A unique tray at the bottom of the center console hints at a possible fridge feature.

The B10 maintains Leapmotor’s signature design language, with through-type light sources at the front and rear. It measures 4515mm in length, 1885mm in width, and 1655mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2735mm. All variants ride on 18-inch wheels, with curb weights ranging from 1670kg to 1705kg.

Performance-wise, entry-level models are equipped with a 132kW electric motor, offering a top speed of 160 km/h. Higher-spec versions boast a 160kW electric motor, enabling speeds of up to 170 km/h.

The B10 currently offers an all-electric variant with an expected range exceeding 600 km, and a potential EREV version may be in the works. Top-spec models will feature Lidar technology and a smart driving suite with sensors and cameras, as revealed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

The B10 is slated for a launch in China in early 2025, with European sales expected to follow later in the year. Stellantis, having acquired a 20% stake in Leapmotor, is likely to leverage its joint venture with Leapmotor International for production in Poland, where the T03 is already being manufactured.
