Stellantis Confirms Assembly of Leapmotor T03 at Polish Plant

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Stellantis China has officially announced that the first trial production vehicles of the Leapmotor T03 have been successfully assembled at Stellantis’ Tychy plant in Poland. This development comes on the heels of recent reports indicating the production of Leapmotor T03 vehicles at Stellantis’ Polish facility.

Stellantis China has stated that “If economically feasible, Leapmotor vehicles can be produced at any Stellantis plant globally. Some models will be produced in Europe, but the specific factories have yet to be disclosed.”

On May 14, Stellantis and Chinese new energy vehicle maker Leapmotor announced the completion of all necessary approvals to establish Leapmotor International B.V. (“Leapmotor International”), with Stellantis holding a 51% stake and Leapmotor 49%. Headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Leapmotor International is set to launch Leapmotor’s C10 and T03 electric models in Europe starting in the fourth quarter of 2024. These models will also be introduced to markets in India, Asia-Pacific (excluding Greater China), the Middle East, Africa, and South America from the same period.

Leapmotor International has exclusive rights for the export and sale of Leapmotor vehicles globally, outside Greater China, and has sole authority for the local manufacturing of Leapmotor products.
