Subaru Corporation, a leading Japanese automaker, recently unveiled its latest battery electric vehicle (BEV) model, the Subaru Uncharted, at an event held in New York by its US subsidiary, Subaru of America Inc. The highly anticipated vehicle is set to hit the US market in early 2026.

The Subaru Uncharted is a compact crossover vehicle powered by a 75 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. This battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 30 minutes, offering convenience and efficiency to drivers. The Premium FWD variant of the Uncharted boasts an impressive range of up to 300 miles on a single charge and delivers up to 221 hp. On the other hand, the Sport and GT AWD variants offer even more power, with up to 338 hp, enabling acceleration from 0-60 mph in less than 5 seconds and a range of 290 miles.

In terms of technology and connectivity, the Subaru Uncharted comes equipped with a standard 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additionally, the vehicle features dual wireless smartphone chargers in the front center console as a standard feature, along with dual USB-C chargers for rear seat passengers. The Uncharted also includes a standard NACS port for charging speeds of up to 150 kW, making it compatible with over 15,000 Tesla Supercharger stations across the US.

While Subaru has confirmed the key specifications of the Uncharted, such as its battery capacity, power output, and charging capabilities, the company has yet to release further details on pricing and additional features. As the launch date approaches, Subaru will unveil more information to eager consumers.
