Tesla has recently announced a new partnership with Steak ‘n Shake to deploy Superchargers at over 100 restaurant locations. This collaboration was revealed through a series of posts on social media platform X.

The partnership started with a comment from Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Steak ‘n Shake’s decision to switch from seed oils to beef tallow. In response, the restaurant proposed the idea of having Tesla charging stations at their locations. However, Tesla had already signed on six sites and had over 20 more under review.

The conversation continued, with Steak ‘n Shake suggesting that the partnership extend to over 100 locations. With over 400 locations worldwide, many of them in the midwest and near highways, Steak ‘n Shake offers ideal locations for Tesla to deploy their charging stations.

This isn’t the first time Tesla has partnered with a restaurant for multiple Supercharger locations. They also have a deal with Ruby Tuesday. Tesla is currently rolling out its latest V4 Superchargers, capable of charging at 500 kW. The first stations are expected to come online in the US later this year.

Overall, this partnership between Tesla and Steak ‘n Shake is a strategic move to expand the electric vehicle charging infrastructure and make it more accessible to Tesla owners. With more Superchargers available at popular restaurant locations, Tesla aims to make long-distance travel in electric vehicles more convenient and efficient.
