McLaren 750S: Continuing the Legacy of Braking Power

Best for: Braking power

McLaren made a significant impact with the release of the 720S back in 2017. This supercar demonstrated that exceptional performance could be achieved through a relentless focus on usability.

It quickly became evident that the 720S was not just any supercar – it was the best and most accomplished one on the market. While it may not have been the most thrilling or extravagant, it excelled in all areas.

The 720S set itself apart with its precise cornering balance, responsive body control, and comfortable ride quality. It also impressed with its ergonomic design, excellent visibility, and precise steering feedback. Instead of relying on exaggerated steering inputs, the 720S offered a more natural and intuitive driving experience.

With the introduction of the 750S, McLaren aimed to build upon the success of its predecessor. While the 750S retains many of the same exceptional qualities, it now faces stiff competition from the latest wave of high-powered, electrified supercars.

In its latest iteration, the 750S received subtle updates to its exterior design and performance features. McLaren made adjustments to the steering, engine mounting, dampers, wheels, and braking system to enhance overall performance.

Despite these enhancements, some enthusiasts feel that the 750S lacks the technical allure of its predecessor. While it remains a joy to drive, it may not captivate drivers in the same way as the 720S did.

Overall, the McLaren 750S continues to uphold the brand’s reputation for delivering exceptional braking power and performance. While it may face new challenges in the evolving landscape of supercar technology, the 750S remains a formidable contender in its class.
