Porsche has unveiled three new Taycan Black Edition models for the 2026 lineup, offering more than just a sleek new look. These models come equipped with Porscheās Performance Battery Plus, delivering increased power and a longer driving range.
The 2026 Porsche Taycan Black Edition is making its debut alongside the new electric Macan, showcasing Porsche’s commitment to electrification. Following significant upgrades introduced for the 2025 model year, including improved driving range, faster charging, higher performance, and a refreshed design, the Black Edition variants are set to elevate the driving experience even further.
Available for the 2026 Porsche Taycan, Taycan 4, and Taycan 4S models, the Black Edition models feature the SportDesign package, with high-gloss black exterior accents on the window trims and mirrors. The rear light strip boasts an illuminated, blacked-out Porsche logo, adding a touch of sophistication. Inside, these variants come equipped with Porscheās black interior accent package, storage package, and black brushed illuminated door sill guards.
All three Black Edition models come with the larger Performance Battery Plus, offering a gross energy capacity of 105 kWh. This upgrade translates to a longer driving range and more power, with the 2025 Taycan model equipped with the Performance Battery Plus pack boasting an EPA-estimated range of 318 miles. On the European WLTP scale, these models can achieve up to 679 km (421 miles) of range.
Loaded with premium features, the Black Edition models include Lane Change Assist, Surround View with Active Parking Assist, 21″ wheels with center caps featuring the Porsche crest, and HD-Matrix Design LED headlights. Puddle light projectors that display the Porsche logo when the doors open add a touch of flair to these already impressive vehicles.
On the interior, the Black Edition models offer 14-way comfort seats with a memory function, a Porsche crest on the headrests, and a BOSE Surround Sound System with Dolby Atmos for a truly immersive audio experience. Additional features include Porsche Electric Sport Sound, a Storage package, and the Porsche crest stitched into the leather trim. An exclusive āBlack Editionā badge in the center console further distinguishes these models.
Despite the name, the Black Edition models offer a range of color options such as Jet Black Metallic, Volcano Grey Metallic, Dolomite Silver Metallic, and Ice Grey Metallic at no extra cost. Pricing for the 2026 Taycan Black Edition models will be announced soon, with deliveries in the US expected to begin in Fall 2025.
