Chery Holding Sets New Sales Record in 2024

In the highly competitive automotive industry of 2024, Chery Holding emerged as a standout performer, achieving a historic sales record. The company boasted comprehensive growth across four key sectors: new energy vehicles (NEVs), oil-fueled vehicles, overseas exports, and the domestic market.

Throughout 2024, Chery Holding reported annual sales of 2.6039 million vehicles, representing a remarkable 38.4% year-on-year increase. Surpassing its initial sales targets, Chery demonstrated not only impressive market adaptability but also solid brand influence.

A major highlight of Chery in 2024 was its global strategy. With annual exports reaching 1.1446 million vehicles, Chery maintained its position as the leading exporter of Chinese indigenous passenger vehicles for the 22nd consecutive year. The company expanded its presence to over 110 countries and regions, becoming the first Chinese automaker to establish a joint venture factory in Europe. Additionally, Chery became the first Chinese auto brand to achieve cumulative exports exceeding 4 million vehicles, further solidifying its market share and global presence.

Gasgoo, in its year-end review, analyzed the key achievements of leading automotive enterprises and component manufacturers, highlighting Chery Group’s significant milestones in 2024.

From January to August 2024, Chery Automobile recorded cumulative sales of 1.5 million units, marking a year-on-year increase of 41.9%. The company also maintained its position as the top exporter among Chinese automakers, with exports growing by 25.2% to reach 720,000 units.

Known for its pioneering work in developing independent technologies, Chery has been a trailblazer in mastering core technologies such as engines, transmissions, chassis, and platforms, setting itself apart in the industry.

Furthermore, partnerships with companies like Huawei and Jaguar Land Rover have led to the development of innovative vehicles and technologies, showcasing Chery’s commitment to staying at the forefront of the automotive industry.

In August 2024, Chery Holding Group made its debut on the Fortune Global 500 list, ranking 385th with an operating revenue of $39.0917 billion, further solidifying its position as a global automotive leader.
