The latest addition to Toro’s lineup of electric construction equipment is the e2500-THL and TS Ultra Buggies, offering impressive carrying capacities and quiet, fume-free operation for construction and demo crews. The TS model boasts a carrying capacity of 2500 lbs. and the THL model features a six-and-a-half foot dump height, nearly 13 cubic ft. of capacity, and hours of continuous operation on a single charge.

In a time where noise regulations are becoming increasingly strict in many municipalities across the US, the shift towards electric equipment is more important than ever. The e2500 Ultra Buggies run on a 7 kWh Toro HyperCell lithium-ion battery, providing up to eight hours of operation, making them ideal for indoor demolition and construction jobs with their narrow 31.5″ width. The zero-turn radius and auto-return dump mechanism further enhance the ease of operation for the crew.

Toro estimates that each e2500 Ultra Buggy can replace up to five wheelbarrows on a job site, making them a cost-effective and efficient solution for construction crews. With pricing starting at around $32,000, these electric Ultra Buggies offer a compelling alternative to traditional gas and diesel-powered equipment.

As the demand for cleaner and quieter job sites continues to grow, electric equipment like the e2500 Ultra Buggies will become increasingly prevalent. With more municipal and private sector projects requiring zero-emission vehicles and quiet operation, the transition to electric power is inevitable. Toro’s commitment to providing innovative electric solutions for the construction industry is a step in the right direction towards a more sustainable future.

Overall, the e2500-THL and TS Ultra Buggies from Toro represent a significant advancement in electric construction equipment, offering impressive performance, efficiency, and environmental benefits for construction crews looking to stay ahead of the curve.
