Maserati has released a new track-ready version of its MC20 supercar in the UK, and it comes with a hefty price tag of £338,880, making it the most expensive model in the range. The GT2 Stradale is inspired by the GT2 racing car and offers a range of upgrades over the standard MC20.
Compared to the regular MC20, the GT2 Stradale is 60kg lighter and produces an extra 11bhp from its twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 engine. This results in a power output of 632bhp at 7500rpm and a 0-62mph time of just 2.8 seconds, putting it ahead of competitors like the McLaren 750S and Ferrari 296 GTB.
In terms of handling, the GT2 Stradale features the same suspension and steering rack tuning as the GT2 racing car, along with a track-biased braking system. The addition of a new front diffuser and a large rear wing helps to increase downforce to a maximum of 500kg, promising superior performance and driving sensations.
One of the standout features of the GT2 Stradale is the new Corsa Evo driving mode, which is only available with optional performance packs. This mode acts as an advanced traction control system with four levels, enhancing the car’s performance on the track.
Overall, the Maserati GT2 Stradale is a formidable supercar that pushes the boundaries of performance and luxury. With its sleek design, powerful engine, and advanced driving technologies, it is sure to impress even the most discerning of supercar enthusiasts.
