Stellantis, the automotive giant, seems to have some work cut out for them as they face some challenges with their lineup of vehicles. From the Peugeot e-208’s i-Cockpit issues to the Giulia QV’s warning lights and battery drainage problems, it appears that there are some kinks that need to be ironed out.
However, not all is lost as we have taken it upon ourselves to create our own consolation awards for those cars that may not be perfect but still have some redeeming qualities.
The Honda e:NY1, while not as remarkable to drive as its predecessor, the E, impresses with its spacious backseat, earning it the Beat’s Walking Award. The Nissan Aryia takes home the Check the Spec Award for its options-sensitive nature and impressive interior design when configured correctly.
On the other hand, the Subaru Crosstrek’s infotainment system, which can remind you of important dates, earns it the HR’s Not Safe For Work Award for a cheeky message left by a friend. The Dacia Sandero Stepway wins the Digital Detox Award for its simplicity and lack of unnecessary features, providing a break for eyes and brain.
Lastly, the Skoda Kamiq, much like a neutral off-white paint color, receives the Dulux Magnolia Award for its solid and unassuming presence in the crossover market.
While Stellantis may have some improvements to make across their range of vehicles, these consolation awards show that there is still merit to be found in each car.
