At the 2025 World Robot Conference, Vbot introduced China’s first intelligent companion robot, equipped with VLA autonomous mobility and Agent visual-language interaction. This robot allows for natural communication and closed-loop command execution, revolutionizing the concept of a smart home companion.
The Vbot intelligent companion robot is designed for household and personal use, offering innovative consumer experiences such as accompanying family members on outings, carrying bags, capturing photos and videos, and assisting in caregiving for elderly relatives and children, effectively becoming an integral part of the family.
In terms of battery endurance, the Vbot intelligent companion robot features optimized system architecture, increased motor torque density, and the largest battery compartment among quadruped robots in its class. With over 600Wh of battery power—38% higher than the industry standard—it delivers extended runtime.
Vbot and EVE Energy are collaborating on developing a higher-density battery pack to increase capacity by 30% and enable more than six hours of outdoor operation, providing a full day’s worth of use.
In February, EVE Energy was recognized by Morgan Stanley as one of the top 100 listed companies in the humanoid robot sector, highlighting its expertise in battery technology. At the WRC, EVE Energy showcased its “Dense Energy Solutions,” offering a comprehensive range of battery solutions for robotics.
During an industry forum, Feng Yanqiang, chief engineer of EVE Energy’s robotics battery division, emphasized the importance of addressing the challenge of limited battery life in humanoid robots. The collaboration between Vbot and EVE Energy signifies a significant step towards overcoming this challenge and advancing the capabilities of robotic technology.
